I am currently working on combining my cooking blog, my photography blog, and my normal blog to a new blog. Please bear with me, I hope to have it ready by the end of this month!

Day 6: Let There Be Land Animals and Man.

So I know I am late entering this, and even if I can't qualify, I'm going to post anyway. :)

This is my little sister Laurel holding one of my 7 week old bunnies this past summer.

And this is a picture of Skippy, Laurel's rabbit, when he was 7 weeks old. The one she is holding in the above picture is Skippy's sister.

This week is Day 7: Let There Be Rest
I don't know what picture I will use but hopefully I will get a good one up before next Tuesday!

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, and have a Happy New Years! :)

Day 5: Let There Be the Sea Creatures and Birds

Once again it is time for...

For some reason, I always post the very last day you are allowed too. Maybe because I am afraid I will take a better picture, and then have already entered...I don't know. :)

This first one I was just playing around with. I like how the wings are against the rest of the circle. :)

This is an archive picture, taken in September at the lake near us.
This is also an archive, taken at the pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

I was taking some pictures of birds outside our kitchen window today, but none turned out very good.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! :)

Day 4: Let There Be The Sun, Moon, and Stars

A picture of the moon? When I hear that, I envision a beach, in the middle of the night, with palm trees silhouetted against the moonlight, and waves on the sand, with a perfectly round moon in the center of the sky.

Well, believe me, I went to the beach, there were no palm trees, and my pictures are grainy, blurry blobs of light, if you look hard you can distinguish the waves from the sand. =D

But, I decided to practice night photography in my own backyard.
The moon was out yesterday around 4:15pm...I ran outside to take some pictures, and there was one star below the moon. I have no idea which one it was though. :) Then later (around 9pm) on our way home from 4-H I saw the moon, and that same star, the sky was much darker then, though! And I saw the little dipper. But when I got home I was to lazy to go upstairs, get my camera, go back downstairs, go out side, and try to take a picture because my battery was half dead, and I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere near a good picture.

With that out of the way...I need to get those pictures on the computer, and see what they look like. :) One better be good, so I can put it on here, if they are all bad, I'll just have to find one from my trip to the beach, and use it.

Okay, so I changed the colors on one picture a ton, and it looks kinda cool to me. =) It doesn't really even look like the original, which had a really blue sky, instead it looks as if it was taken in the dead of night. haha :)

A fellow blogger commented on nzkiwi girl's blog, (she is doing this challenge) and said to take a good picture of the moon, to put your ISO really low, among other things. Now I want to do that! haha maybe I will try it tonight if I can see the moon. For now, here's just one picture.

See that little dot of light below the moon? That is the star. :)

*Edit

Okay, I took some more pictures, and I was looking to see if I could find what that star is. Supposedly if it's not twinkling its Jupiter. While it would be cool to see a planet so close, I am kinda skeptical. :)

Here's another picture of the moon, I just adjusted the contrast/shadows/highlights. Then I put it in a 'before/after' frame. In case you're wondering, the thing in the lower left hand corner of the left picture is a tree branch (you can't really see it that much). :)

Tagged!

I've been tagged by Makay at So Far So Great. Head over to check out her answers! I am going to do this tag on my regular blog.
I have been thinking, four blogs is a lot to keep up with, and I really want to combine them all into one blog. But I want them to be separate, too. I know that's confusing but I'll try to tell you all what I want.
I want a blog, where I have all my posts, but I also want four other pages on there, one for photography, one for cooking, one for my life, and one for crafts.  So if I posted about cooking, it would go on the original page, and on the page about cooking.
Ha. I probably lost you all after I said I'm doing this tag at my regular blog. If I didn't loose you, do you know how I can do that??? Any advice would be appreciated!!!
Now for a picture...

My sister made these Chocolate Mint Dreams the other day for a Christmas party she has today. :)

Snow! :)

Last weekend we got the first official snow of the year, it has all stayed! We got maybe 3-4 inches. This picture is of a snowball my brother threw at our kitchen window when he was 'shoveling'. :) Despite the cold coloring, I really like how the background in this picture turned out.

This weeks Capturing Creation theme is Day 3: Let There Be The Waters.

Capturing Creation

This week's theme:
Day 1: Let There Be Light

I have four pictures...I am really bad about narrowing things down. Well, they were the same two pictures, but I liked both edits the same. Anywho, here are the two I decided to go with. :)

The first is of sunset, across the street from my friend's house. I took it in October on the way home from camp, when we dropped her off.
The second is of sunrise at the ocean. When I was there for the first time in my life this past September, we got up early to watch the sunrise. It was rather cloudy, so the sun had risen quite a bit before it came out.

Wildflowers

I need to enter 10 of these pictures in 4-H as wildflower pictures. I am having trouble deciding which ones to ditch. :( So if ya'll could vote on my poll, and tell me which two to GET RID of, that would be great! Thanks! And if you happen to know the name of the bottom two, could you tell me in a comment? That would be much easier!!! Oh, and sorry the pictures are kinda in the words but the size smaller was too small for y'all to see the detail I wanted you to. :-/

ok I found the name of this I think it is SPIDERWORT. :)
